BioKnit® Conductive Sock

The conductive fabric properties of the BioKnit® conductive garments and pads take the place of traditional adhesive electrodes and is well suited for patients with sensitive skin.  Use in conjunction with an electro-stimulation devices such as TENS, EMS or HVPS and will provide comfortable even stimulation to the entire treated area.

All BioKnit® conductive garments are woven with silver threading to provide even stimulation to the entire treatment area when used in conjunction with an electro-stimulation device such as TENS, EMS or HVPS. BioKint® conductive garments can be used in every situation and are available to cover hardest-to-reach areas, such as the back and shoulder.

Indicated for patients suffering from Arthritis, Neuropathy, Carpel Tunnel, Tennis Elbow, ACL/MCL injuries, Low Back pain and many other conditions. Garments are reusable and hand washable and recommended for single patient use only.

It’s highly recommended the use an electrolyte spray with all conductive garments. This type of spray increases electrode-to-skin conductivity, eliminates hot spots, and prevents electrode dry-out during prolonged use. Using in conjunction with conductive garments will coat the silver conductive thread preventing tarnish. Using water as a lubricant will tarnish the silver threading over time lessening the garments effectiveness. BioMedical Life Systems offers an effective electrolyte spray for your convenience.

  6. Take one lead wire from the approved electro stimulation device and attach one lead wire pin to Conductive Sock and one to your grounding electrode (pin color doesn’t not matter). Attached the other end of the lead wire to your device.
  7. You can now ready to apply stimulation from the electro stimulation device as directed by your health care professional.

  • It’s highly recommended the use an electrolyte spray with all garments which provides increased connectivity to the skin and reduces hot spots.
  • Hand wash garment in cold water using soap designed for washing delicate fabrics. Rinse thoroughly. Carefully block into shape on a towel and allow to air dry. Do not place in dryer.
