Interferential therapy reaches deeper than a TENS unit as it incorporates a carrier frequency that mimics the body’s natural current. This allows the Interferential therapeutic current to gently pass into deeper tissue unlike a TENS device which pushes the current through the skin yet never reaching deep issue areas.

The BioStim® INF is the easiest to use and most effective interferential device the market today. Pre-programmed with three sweeps; S1 set at 1-10 Hz is used for Edema Reduction, S2 is set at 80-150 Hz used for Pain Relief, and  S3 set at 1-150 Hz for total treatment reducing Pain and Edema simultaneously. Simply follow the easy set up and patient instruction manual. The device offers bipolar stimulation using only two electrodes where the interferential stimulation is already “mixed” within the unit or you can choose Full Interferential stimulation with the use of all four electrodes. The device has a timer for the desired treatment time and operates on four AA batteries. Included is a wall adaptor for prolonged use.
